First Ever Student Artist of the Month Liam McArthur!!!

Liam McArthur, Centennial Elementary 5th grader, is our first-ever Centennial Student Artist of the Month! He has created so much amazing art that is now on display in our main hallway.

Liam is a student artist who can draw anything. "I am self-taught," he says. His art tip is that it doesn't need to be perfect. He wants students to just have confidence in what you have made, because "It's hard."

His chosen medium is printer paper, plain white, with no lines. He says it's awesome to draw on.
Liam shares, "I draw in all my free time. Usually I can draw animals, food combinations, people, and video games."

Liam loves to share his art with others. He says, "I've shown everyone in my family my art and they really like it. For birthdays and special events I give them my art. They really like it, so I give them that gift." Liam's mother says that he has been drawing since he was 3 years old. His family keeps a portfolio of all his work. He is constantly creating.

Liam will be sharing his art in another way this month--he will be presenting to the Nampa School Board at their October 18, 2021 meeting at 6:30 pm. Feel free to tune in via YouTube on the district channel to see this amazing artist show his artistic talent to the world!
